THE VILLAGE LUNCH
At The Village Lunch we welcome anyone who would like to eat a freshly prepared traditional 3 course meal, followed by tea or coffee, for a set price of £7.50.
Lunch is served on the second Saturday of each month at 12 noon in The Village Hall, except for January. Our regular customers enjoy each others company and will welcome you should you decide to join us. All the hot food is cooked using fresh ingredients by experienced volunteers. Those who attend say that we serve a very enjoyable meal which is excellent value for the price.
With members of our volunteer team trained in the “Level 2 Award in Food Safety for Catering” ensures a very high standard. We are proud to hold a 5 Star premises hygiene rating from Braintree District Council.
If you would like to give us a try, or you know someone who would like to come along, please call Anne on 01787 378910 or email us at firstname.lastname@example.org. This will assist us in ensuring that we cater for sufficient numbers.
Our selection of food is changed each month. Please view next months menu.
The Village Lunch is now in its 25th year and has space for more diners, so please come!
We thank all our volunteers, from our local community, for all their hard work and delicious lunches!
The proceeds from village lunches are shared between the Village Hall and St. Marys Church Belchamp Walter. Details are available for inspection from the Village Hall Committee.
